About Worship Commission

Vision

St. Edna Worship Commission will create an environment of full, conscious and active participation which provides a relevant and vibrant worship experience.

Role of a Member

The role of a member of the Worship Commission is to embrace, articulate, and support the vision of the Commission; and to have a thorough understanding of the synergies of the Ministries which make up the Worship Commission.

Expectations

By consistent and thorough communication with the Parish Pastoral Council and Worship Ministries, we will:

Affirm the strength of our existing Ministries and identify opportunities for improvement
Evaluate the effectiveness of liturgies and ministries to assure the quality of the worship experience
Commit to development and faith formation for Commission members, their areas of ministry and the assembly
Participate in seasonal liturgical preparation and coordination of liturgies

Goals

Ensure the fullness of parish life is reflected and celebrated throughout our weekend liturgies
Develop a communication plan utilizing technology for our parish members, ministries, and commissions
Cultivate ministers, leaders, and vocations
