Networking Ministry

In years past, the Share Job Network ministry met bi-weekly at St. Edna and provided different speakers and Human Resource Professionals who would present new and fresh ideas to aid and assist the unemployed and under employed in their individual job searches. While St. Edna no longer hosts these events, the minstry is still supported by Churches in the area.

Any questions regarding the St. Hubert Job Ministry Events, contact Bob Podgorski at Careerguy1@gmail.com

Options for Prayers at St. Edna

Prayer Basket

The Prayer Basket is in church and is offered as a part of the offertory at Mass. Intentions are placed in the basket and they are strictly between the person that places them in there and the Lord who receives them. The prayers are then offered collectively during the Prayer of the Faithful at Mass.

Prayers at Mass

When people are critically ill, a request form can be filled out in the Parish Office by a family member for prayers to be offered during the Prayer of the Faithful.

St. Edna Angel Network

If you would like to be added to the Angel Network, please contact the Parish Office at 847-398-3362. Ministers who are on the Angel Network receive an email and then they offer prayers for people who are in urgent need of our prayers.

“Pray for Our Sick”

As members of St. Edna’s parish faith community, it is our responsibility to remember both in concrete and spiritual ways those who cannot celebrate mass with us each week because they are ill. Those who are sick, in turn, remember all of us daily in their prayers and in their sufferings. We experience many blessings because of their remembering us. And so, please remember in your prayers the people listed on the “Pray for Our Sick”.
